Dinner for Two!
Tomorrow my beautiful daughter embarks on a new chapter in her life: Kindergarten.If you know my "lady in training" this day is a momentous occasion. Therefore, she has requested that we dine in. Just the two of us. She explains that we can not go out to eat or visit someone else's to eat because we may get back home too late. She needs her rest for the big day.
After a gruesome day of shopping in the Atlanta heat Saturday, staying in sounds like a plan. That is, until I saw the meal request. After eliminating steak, shrimp, and crab legs from negotiations, we settled on rice casserole. For dessert, fresh cinnamon buns.
I am so proud and so scared. Anyway, Bon Apetite!
