I'm Ready for the Ride
If there were a word to describe how I am feeling right now, I'm sure I still couldn't say it.
That's how you have me. You wipe my tears no matter who caused them. You let me be me and me is who you love. Not the feeling/adjective love, the verb/action love.
You never judge me. You realize God has a purpose for me and my life and you pray I find it and embrace it.
Although you appear to be public, because of your occupation, you are actually private. I used to think you were ashamed because I didn't fit certain standards. Now I realize you were protecting me and keeping me close, for you only.
Days turn into months, months to years. Look at us. Who would have thought? I know the road less traveled is the road with the most obstacles. But, there will be no traffic so we'll reach our destination quicker.
